Janis Glassmeyer, age 77, of Allentown, passed away on February 1, 2025, in St. Luke's Hospital - Allentown Campus. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late George Eitzenberger and Eleanor D. (Herring) Debus.  She was the loving wife of the late Thomas R. Glassmeyer with whom she shared 15 years of marriage.

She graduated from William Allen High School in 1965. She worked as a Bartender at the VFW Macungie Post for over 30 years and was also a member there. She enjoyed watching monster movies and doing puzzles.

Janis is survived by her daughter, Tammy L. Rhoads and her husband Michael; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Waller (Len), Matthew T. Rhoads, Shaun M. Rhoads (Amber), Erin Salabsky and Rebecca Salabsky and five great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, Jack E. Brady, Jr.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 14, 2025, at 11:00 AM, in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main Street, Emmaus, PA 18049. Viewing will be held prior from 10:00-11:00 AM. Interment will be held in Chestnut Hill Church Cemetery in Coopersburg.
