Janet I. "Janie" (Weida) Dib, 76, of Blue Bell, died April 16, 2022 at home surrounded by her family.  She was the wife of the late Ghazi Dib, who died in 2019.  Born in Alburtis,  she was the daughter of the late Russell and Della (Kohler) Weida.  Janie was a 1963 graduate of Emmaus High School and a graduate of Allentown Hospital School of Nursing.  She worked as a registered nurse at Lehigh Valley Hospital for over 30 years, retiring in 1999.

Janie is survived by her daughters, Jenn wife of Duncan MacGilvray and Deena Dib; grandson Ian MacGilvray; cousins, Elaine Weaver and her husband Ronald; nephew Al Bayout and wife Ann; niece, Danielle wife of Peter Schurman and their children, Hannah and Noah; sister-in-law, Celeste Troutman and her beloved bird Crackers.  She was predeceased by a brother, Ockey Weida in 2010.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.  Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.
