Jane E. Long Jane E. Long, 58, of Emmaus, died October 13, 2008 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital. She was the wife of David A. Long. They celebrated their 34th wedding anniversary in May 2008. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of Russell W. Bortz and the late Betty E. (Sittler) Bortz. She worked as a secretary for Concannon, Miller and Co. for many years. She was a member of St. Johns U.C.C., Emmaus and the BPW, Emmaus. Survivors: Husband; Father and Stepmother, Russell W. and Annetta A. (Stephen) Bortz of Macungie; Brother, Donald Bortz and wife Barbara of Allentown; Nephew, Michael Bortz; Niece, Wendy Rice.
