Jane Paules Dowdle Jane Paules Dowdle, 69, of Bethlehem, died Oct. 21, 2010 in Lehigh Valley Hospital Muhlenberg Campus. She was the wife of Archie B. Dowdle, Jr. They celebrated their 46th wedding anniversary on June 6, 2010. Born in Emmaus, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Bertice L. (Boehm) Paules. She was a graduate of Tufts University in Boston. She was a retired physical therapist in the Lehigh Valley for 40 years. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Bethlehem. She honorably served her country as a 1st Lieutenant in the Air Force at Andrews Air Force Base. Survivors: Husband; Sons, Eric K. Dowdle and wife Pamela of Upper Black Eddy and Kurt B. Dowdle and wife Ingrid of Irvine, CA; Grandsons, Kai, Luc, and Eoghan. She was predeceased by a brother, Roy H. Paules. Services: Funeral Service Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2010 at 11:00 AM in Schantz Funeral Home, Inc., 250 Main St., Emmaus. Viewing Monday from 7:00 to 8:30 PM and Tuesday 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the funeral home. Interment with military honors will follow in Northwood Cemetery.
