James Ray Silvius, 60, of Coopersburg, passed away October 9, 2026 in Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest. He was the husband of Ann E. (Baran) Silvius, with whom he shared 25 years of marriage. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late LeRoy J. Silvius and Jean (Gross) Brendlinger. Jim worked for Scott Cheverlot, Precast in Telford, and for over 30 years as a truck driver for Mesco Systems and Lazor Spot. He was a member of the Mercantile Club of Emmaus and Colebrookdale Railroad.

Jim is survived by his wife, Ann; son, Jeremy Silvius and wife Rachel; stepdaughter, Stephanie wife of Will Reed; step grandchildren, Korall, Nijall, and Gabriall; step great granddaughter, Nailea.

A celebration of Jim’s life will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2026 at 2:00 PM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main Street, Emmaus. Visitation from 1:00 to 2:00 PM in the funeral home.
