James L. Sharkey, Jr., 75, died in his home on Dec. 26, 2022 of ALS.  Born in Easton, he was the son of the late Frances (Musselman) and James L. Sharkey, Sr. He honorably served his country in the Army during the Vietnam era.

James is survived by his wife of 50 years, Dana K. (Althouse) Sharkey; sister, Judith M. wife of Ralph T. Veasey of North East, MD; sister-in-law, Cherie Wieder of Allentown; niece and nephew; great nieces and nephews.

Services are at the convenience of the family.    Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.
