James I. Plunkett James I. Plunkett, 67, of Emmaus, died June 21, 2011 in his home. He was the husband of Barbara M. (OSullivan) Plunkett. They celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on June 5, 2011. Born in Dublin, Ireland, he was the son of the late Patrick and Ellen (Thornbury) Plunkett. He was a salesman for Aetna Felt, Allentown and American Felt and Filter in Newburgh, NY. He was a member of St. Anns Catholic Church, Emmaus. He honorably served his country in the National Guard during Vietnam. Survivors: Wife; Sons, Kevin P. Plunkett and wife Jackie of Allentown and Keith J. Plunkett and wife Christine of Emmaus; 4 Brothers and 4 Sisters; Grandchildren, Aiden and Nyah. Services: Funeral Friday, June 24, 2011 at 1:30 PM in the Schantz Funeral Home, Inc., 250 Main Street, Emmaus followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 2:00 PM in St. Anns Catholic Church, 415 South Sixth St., Emmaus.
