James R. O'Reilly, 88, of Allentown, passed away peacefully on Jan. 27, 2026 in his daughter's home.  He was the husband of Mariane (Browne) O'Reilly.  Born in Cornwall, NY, he was the son of the late Robert and Eleanor (Warden) O'Reilly.  Jim was a professional engineer and worked in HVAC business for Air Engineers, serving as president.  He was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church, Emmaus.  He was a former active member of the Cathedral of St. Catharine of Siena, Allentown, serving on the finance committee.   He was also a former member and past president of the Kiwanis Club of Allentown.

Jim is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years, Mariane; daughters, Catherine wife of Philip Ehrig, Margaret wife of John Testa, and Christine O'Reilly; son, James R. O'Reilly, Jr.; grandchildren, Philip, Colleen, Peter, Maraena, Seana, Leo, Ava, Miles, Madeline, Colin, and Grace; brother, John S. O'Reilly and wife Judith; nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Mon., Feb. 9, 2026 at 11:00 AM in St. Ann's Catholic Church, 415 S. 6th St., Emmaus, PA 18049.  Visitation 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the church.  Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Ann's Catholic Church.
