James Leonard Begg, 91, of Emmaus, died October 16, 2017 in his daughter's residence.  He was the husband of Jane M. (Greco) Begg, with whom he shared 63 years of marriage.  Born in London, Ontario, Canada, he was the son of the late Roy H. and Winifred H. (Bellevue) Begg.  He was a graduate of Trinity College and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.  He worked as an electrical engineer for Hart Manufacturing and later as a computer analyst for Traveler's Insurance, retiring in February of 1991.

Survivors: Loving wife of 63 years, Jane; Daughters, Lisa Begg Burnett wife of Jeffrey Burnett of Emmaus and Amy Louise Ralske of New York City, NY; Grandchildren, Elizabeth Herron Burnett and Logan Maxwell Burnett; Nephew Steven R. Begg of California.  He was predeceased by a brother, Stuart R. Begg.

Services: Graveside Services will be held on Friday, October 20, 2017 at 2:00 PM in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Rocky Hill, CT.  Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.
