Obituary

Jacquelyn of Emmaus was born in Allentown on April 7, 1947, and raised in Vera Cruz was the wife of Edward Puschock and the daughter of the late Howard and Roberta (Weaver) Schoenly.  She went to the Vera Cruz elementary schools and graduated from Emmaus High School in 1965.  She was most proud of her nursing education graduating from Allentown School of Nursing, becoming an RN, and earning a BS in Nursing from Kutztown University.

In addition to her parents, she was pre-deceased by a teenage son Todd Jason (TJ) Laudenslager.  Jacquelyn went to be with parents and son in the early hours of January 17, 2021.  Her daughter and husband were by her side when she passed.

She and her husband were married for 43 years on January 7, 2021.

She was employed at LVHN for 33 years most of which was on the Mother Baby Unit at Cedar Crest.

Jacquelyn attended Old Zionsville United Church of Christ for most of her life.

Jacquelyn performed with the Neil Kline Chorus while she was in High School.  In the early 1990s she volunteered with Lutheran Disaster Relief on the island of St. Thomas after a hurricane.  She was a huge NCIS fan, enjoyed attending Penn State home football games including a few bowl games, vacationing in Curacao, and spending winters in Florida, which she did after retiring.  She was also a Life Member of the Mercantile Club in Emmaus.

She is survived by her husband, her daughter Heather (Laudenslager) Miller and Heather's husband Dr. Todd Miller, her twin granddaughters Ashley and Madeline Miller all of Point of Rocks, MD.  She also is survived by a step-son John Puschock and his wife Dr. Catherine Berchok and their son Birch all of Seattle, WA.

A memorial service will be held on Sat., Jan. 30, 2021 at 11:00 AM in Old Zionsville U.C.C., 5981 Fountain Rd., Old Zionsville.  Masks will be required, and social distancing will be followed.  Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.
