Peter Ellis, 69, of Macungie, died April 20, 2021 in Lehigh Center. He was the husband of Margarita Ellis. Born in Providence, Rhode Island, he was the son of the late James O. and Nancy (Easton) Ellis.  Peter was a graduate of Lehigh University, where he was a football player.  He was an electrical engineer working for Acme Cryogenics in Emmaus.  Peter was a member of the Whitehall Historical Society.

Peter is survived by his wife of 34 years, Rita; daughter, Laura wife of Brad Jones of Chicago, IL; grandson, Xeno; sister, Jeanne Ormrod of Rhode Island.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.    Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.
