Homer R. Jarrett, 88, of Slatington, died Dec. 24, 2017 in Lehigh Valley Inpatient Hospice.  He was the husband of Jean E. (Shelhamer) Jarrett.  Born in Longswamp, he was the son of the late Max and Mabel (DeLong) Jarrett.  He worked for the streets department for the City of Allentown for many years, retiring in 1994.

Survivors: Wife, Jean; Daughter, Andrea L. wife of Ross Thomson of Walnutport; Granddaughter, Logan Thomson.

Services: P rivate at the convenience of the family.  Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.
