Henry W. Diemand, 85, of Macungie, died March 21, 2018. He was the husband of Mary (Cole) Diemand. Born in Bechtelsville, he was the son of the late Lloyd K. and Eva (Herb) Diemand.  Henry was a 1951 graduate of Boyertown High School.  He worked for Roadway Express as a dispatcher for 29 years, retiring in 1988.  He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Bechtelsville, Boyertown American Legion, where he volunteered for baseball, lifetime member of Friendship Hook and Ladder, Boyertown, and Bechtelsville Fire Company.  He honorably served his country in the Army during the Korean Conflict.

Survivors: Wife, Mary; Son, Marc Diemand of East Greenville; Daughter, Sheila wife of Mark Cavallaro of Matamoras; Sister, Patricia wife of Rodney Stahl; Grandsons, Brandan and Mark.  He was predeceased by siblings, Joyce, Hope, Anna, and Malcolm.

Services: Private at the convenience of the family.  Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.
