Helen E. Schaeffer, 93, of Emmaus, died March 23, 2024 in Complete Care at Lehigh.  She was the wife of the late Robert W. Schaeffer.  Born in Emmaus, she was the daughter of the late Milton and Jennie (Wagner) Miller.  She was a loving homemaker.  Helen was a member of Jerusalem Western Salisbury Church.  She enjoyed gardening and volunteering at her church.    She was into genealogy, the old school way.  No internet, she used old church and historical society records.  She always kept up with friends with phone calls and in-person visits.

Helen is survived by her daughter, Nancy Schaeffer Thompson of Boise, ID; grandchildren, Hope, Audrey, and Owen.

Funeral services will be held on Sat., April 6, 2024 at 10:00 AM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus.  Interment will follow in Western Salisbury Cemetery.
