Helen D. (Stortz) Nyemscek, 95, of Emmaus, passed away January 12, 2016 in her home. She was the widow of George Nyemscek. Born in Emmaus, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Jennie (Diefenderfer) Stortz. She worked at the Emmaus shirt factory for many years. She was a life member at Bethel Bible fellowship.
Survivors: Son, Tim R. Nyemscek and wife Rosemary of Emmaus; Daughter, Sue wife of Joel Reynolds of Emmaus; Sister, Arlene Shollenberger of Emmaus; Grandchildren, Joshua, Aaron, Jonathan, Daniel, Shawn, Joel, and Eric; Great Grandchildren, Matthew, Sarah, Luke, Andrew, Thomas, David, Adam, Ben, Ryan, Aaron, Ethan, and Grace.
Services: Funeral service will be held on Saturday Jan. 16, 2016 at 10:00 AM at Schantz Funeral Home P.C. 250 Main St. Emmaus. Visitation will be from 9:00 to 10:00 AM in the Funeral Home. Services will continue with burial in Emmaus Moravian Cemetery.
