Rev. Harvey J. Fritz, Jr. Rev. Harvey J. Fritz, Jr., 79, formerly of Emmaus died July 31, 2010 in Fellowship Manor, Whitehall. He was the husband of Bertha R. (Weakland) Fritz. They celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary in August 2009. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Margaret (Miller) and Harvey J. Fritz, Sr. He was a graduate of Allentown High School, Berean Bible School, Allentown, and Bob Jones University with a BA and MA in Bible and Christian Education, Greenville, SC. He began his ministry as the pastor of the Paradise Bible Fellowship Church, Lancaster County, Spring City Bible Fellowship Church for 7 years, Bethel Bible Fellowship Church, Emmaus for 15 years, York Bible Fellowship Church for 3 ½ years and Ebenezer Bible Fellowship Church, Bethlehem for 10 years retiring in 1995. After retiring, he became the Director of Pastoral Services and chaplain at Fellowship Community. He also was the founding pastor of Fellowship Community Church in Whitehall. He served on many boards and committees of the Bible Fellowship Church. Survivors: Loving wife; Son, David Scott Fritz and wife Karen of Wellington, FL; Daughter, Becky Jo wife of Richard Kauffman of Emmaus; Grandchildren, Jennifer wife of Todd Cook, Lisa wife of Michael Mason, Todd and Jason Kauffman, Lauren, Scott and Matthew Fritz and 6 Great Grandchildren. Services: Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at 11:00 AM in the Cedar Crest Bible Fellowship Church, 1151 South Cedar Crest Blvd., Allentown.
