Gunther D. Heussman, 78, of Emmaus, died peacefully in his home on Dec. 19, 2017. Born in Sellersville, he was the son of the late Herbert and Anna (Spreckleman) Heussman. He was a first generation American. Gunther was a graduate of Perkiomen Joint High School agricultural program. He was a dairy farmer for 20 years. He started "Gunther Heussman Inc.", selling used farm equipment for 55 years. He was a board member of the Allentown Rescue Mission. Gunther's favorite things were a good farm machinery auction, a good dairy cow, and a good joke. He was a member of Upper Milford Mennonite Church.
Survivors: He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Frances (Long) Heussman; Son, Wayne Heussman and wife Rebecca of Coopersburg; Grandsons, Timothy and Gavin; Sister, Eleanor (Heussman) Long of Emmaus.
Services: Funeral Services private at the convenience of the family. Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.
