Grace E. Markowitz Grace E. Markowitz, 89, formerly of Emmaus, died March 5, 2014 in Cedarbrook. She was the widow of Michael Markowitz. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Mabel (Goheen) Bader. She worked as a supervisor for Dun and Bradstreet for 20 years, retiring in 1991. She was a member of St. John's U.C.C, Emmaus and was a den mother for the Cub Pack and Boy Scouts Troop 25. Grace will be best remembered for selling cotton candy and snow cones at all the local school festivals and at the former Pine Tree Park. Survivors: Sons, Michael Markowitz, Jr. and wife Shannon of Springfield, MO and John Markowitz of Emmaus; Daughters, Jane Hein of Breinigsville, Gail Markowitz of Miami Beach, FL, and Michelle Bollinger of Allentown; Grandchildren, Tammy Hein, Michael H. Markowitz, and Daniel Markowitz. She was predeceased by a grandson, Christopher Hein.
