Gloria E. Schlegel Gloria E. Schlegel, 85, of Emmaus, died February 28, 2012 in Lehigh Valley Hospital Inpatient Hospice. She was the widow of Wayne I. Schlegel. Born in Emmaus, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Ida (Fegley) Adams. She was a 1944 graduate of Emmaus High School, serving as the class treasurer. She worked for the East Penn School District in food service from 1967 to 1988. She was a member of John's U.C.C., Emmaus, serving on the altar guild. Gloria was the originating president of the Emmaus Lioness Club, serving from 1979 to 1981 and was a member of the Emmaus Womans Club. Survivors: Daughter, Cindi wife of Dr. Robert J. O'Hara, Jr. of Macungie; Son W. Douglas Schlegel and wife Julie of Woodlands, TX; Grandchildren, Rory and wife Katie, Garrett, Tia and Cody; Brother, Evan Adams of Emmaus. Services: Memorial Services Sat., March 3, 2012 at 11:00 A.M in St. John's U.C.C., 139 N. Fourth St., Emmaus, PA 18049. Visitation 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the church. Interment will follow in Northwood Cemetery, Emmaus.
