Gloria T. Carl, 91, of Emmaus, died March 6, 2021 in her home.  She was the wife of the late James M. Carl.  Born in Emmaus, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd E. and Verna H. (Miller) Reese.  She supervised the café for Rodale, Inc. for 9 years.  Prior to that, she was a sewing machine operator for the former Clarence Mfg. for 19 years, only to return to work for her son at Pioneer Glass.  She was a member of St. Matthew's E.C. Church, Emmaus.  Gloria was a member of the Woman's Club of Emmaus, Emmaus Senior Citizens, where she served as treasurer, and the Emmaus VFW.

Gloria is survived by her sons, James M. Carl, Jr. and wife Donna of Summerfield, FL, Neil C. Carl and wife Joann of Emmaus, and Bruce L. Carl of Emmaus; daughters, Patricia T. wife of Ralph Breinich of Emmaus, Jeanette A. wife of Dennis Madaya of Walnutport, Deborah J. Bloxham-Hamel of The Villages, FL, Cynthia L. Polster of The Villages, FL, and Kathleen M. Glattly of Ventnor, NJ; sister, Jean Scheller of Kempton; 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter.

Funeral services will be held on Wed., March 10, 2021 at 11:00 AM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus.  Viewing 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the funeral home.  Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown.
