Glen A. Acker, 37, of Emmaus, died Oct. 5, 2018.  Born in Allentown, he was the son of Scott A. Acker and Carolyn A. (Page) Bunting.  He worked as a cook for The Shelby and formerly at Bethlehem Brew Works.

Glen is survived by his father, Scott A. Acker and wife Susan; mother, Carolyn A. wife of Larry Bunting; son, Derek N. Acker; sister, Melissa Vaka; step-sister, Karen Bailey; grandfather, Glenwood Barlow; grandmother, Elda Acker; many aunts, uncles, niece, nephews, and cousins.  He was predeceased by a step-brother, Derek Smith; grandfathers, Allen Acker and Warren Koch; grandmother, Alice Barlow.

Memorial Services will be held on Thurs., Oct. 11, 2018 at 7:30 PM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus .  Visitation 6:00 to 7:30 PM in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the funeral home to benefit his son, Derek.
