Gertrude A. Kauffman Gertrude A. Kauffman, 86, of Emmaus, died Dec. 26, 2008 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital Inpatient Hospice Unit. She was the wife of Robert F. Kauffman. They celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary on April 7, 2008. Born in Weatherly, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Sarah (Hinkle) Eroh. She was a homemaker. She was an active member of Bethel Bible Fellowship Church, Emmaus, serving as a Sunday School teacher, choir member, and an officer in the Womans Missionary Society. Survivors: Husband; Sons, Richard Kauffman and wife Becky of Emmaus and Alan Kauffman and wife Connie of Vera Cruz; Daughter, Marjorie wife of Richard Mengel of Vera Cruz; Brothers, Eugene Eroh and wife Patricia, Henry Eroh, and David Eroh and wife Carol all of Weatherly; Sister, Betty wife of Jeryl Swartley of Haddonfield, NJ; 8 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren. She was predeceased by brothers Charles and Phillip in WWII; Willard, Allan, and Gerald and by a sister, Jane. Services: Funeral Services Wed., Dec. 31, 2008 at 11:00 AM in Bethel Bible Fellowship Church, 418 Elm St., Emmaus. Viewing 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the church.
