Gerardo A. De La Iglesia, 75, of Macungie, passed away March 29, 2026 in Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest. He was the husband of Carmenza (Ramirez) De La Iglesia. Born in Monte Video, Uruguay, he was the son of the late Fermin and Julia O. (Torrente) and brother to his late brother, Enrique De La Iglesia. Gerardo owned and operated Poultry Time, Inc. Deli in New Rochelle, NY for many years. He was a faithful member of Cedar Crest Bible Fellowship Church.

Gerardo is survived by his loving wife, Carmenza; son, Uzzie De La Iglesia and wife Lynn (Martens) De La Iglesia; daughter, Zullie De La Iglesia and fiancée Michael Johnson; granddaughter, Sophia; step grandchildren, Chris and wife Mariah and their 2 children and Michael Brennan and his son. Late nephew, Christian De La Iglesia and survived by his daughter Gigi Mac De La Iglesia; nephew Chad De La Iglesia and niece-in-law Lucy De La Iglesia; 12 Brother-in-laws and 2 Sister-in-laws.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at 2:00 PM in Cedar Crest Bible Fellowship Church, 1151 South Cedar Crest Blvd., Allentown.

Visitation 1:00 to 2:00 PM in the church.
