George W. Shipps, Jr., age 62 of Greentown, passed away on April 4, 2023 at his residence. Born in Blairstown, NJ, he was the son of the late George W. and Shirley J. (Van Why) Shipps.

He graduated from Warren Regional High School. George proudly served in the Army Reserves. He was a self employed mechanic since a young boy. George was a simple man and would give the shirt off his back to anyone. He had a passion for history, loved motorcycles and had an obsession for Pink Floyd!

George is survived by his daughter, Jessica Shipps, fiancé Brett; step-son, Steven Storm, wife Meaghan; grandchildren, Christian, Haven, Blaze and Suriah; step granddaughters, Jordan, Austyn and Rylan; sister, Christine Burek, husband Robert; nephews, James and William Burek and niece, Tammy Shipps. He was predeceased by sister, Brenda Anderson.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
