George T. Roeder, 82, of Allentown, died July 17, 2013 in Lehigh Valley Hospital. He was the faithful spouse of Jane (Yoachim) Roeder of 58 years. Born in Hosensack, he was the son of the late David and Anna (Holben) Roeder. George was a delivery driver of specialty fuels for various companies including NASA, Air Products, Matlack, and Myers Men. He served with honor in the Army as a Combat Engineer during the Korea conflict. A former 4H and Boy Scout leader. He was especially proud of his 3 sons achieving the rank of Eagle. A member of Allentown and Macungie VFW, Disabled Vets, American Legion of Willis TX, and the Fraternal Orders of Police Association, Old Time Plow Boys, and German Heritage society. He enjoyed traveling in the motor home with the infamous McDonald cups, and always said he had 3 families; Loving family, Church family, and a Camping family. Roeder and wife Darlen of Auburn, PA, Grandchildren; Jason, Jami, Jeremiah, Elijah, and Isiah, Great Grandchildren Kaitlynne, Trey, Joycelynn, Victoria, Jason Jr. and Adien, Sisters; Caroline Reifienger of Zionsville, PA, Irene wife of Carl Jarett of Ocola, Fl, and sister-in-law Pamela Roeder of Zionsville, PA. He was predeceased by Brothers; John, Elwood, Jeremiah, and Sister Elizabeth. Services Funeral Services Monday, July 22, 2013 at 12:00 PM at Jerusalem Western Salisbury Church 3441 Devonshire Rd Allentown, PA. A viewing will be held from 11:00 to 12:00 PM. in the church.
