George A. Miller, age 89, of Macungie, passed away on April 13, 2024 at Bethlehem South Nursing and Rehab. Born in Kansas City, MO, he was the son of the late George A. and Rose (Voes) Miller. He was the loving husband of Teresa (Ramsey) Miller with whom he shared 38 years of marriage.

He graduated from Rockhurst High School in Kansas City, MO. He then went to Rockhurst University, University of Notre Dame and earned his PHD from Cornell University. After graduation, he took a job at Rohm and Haas, where he was a chemist and has over 40 patents.

George was a member of Saint Ann's Church in Emmaus.

George loved to travel with his family, go on cruises and sail his boat on the Chesapeake Bay. He earned his pilot license and loved to fly planes. He was a huge Phillies fan and had season tickets from 1979.

George is survived by his wife Teresa; son, Scott Miller; step son Geoffrey Peiffer and his wife Vera; step daughter, Kimberly Brugger and her husband PJ; two grandchildren, Aidan 20 and Siena 18; six step grandchildren and twin sister, Georgina Holt. He was predeceased by brothers, Roger and Clarence Miller.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, April 26, 2024 at 11:00 AM in Saint Ann's Church, 415 S. 6th Street, Emmaus, PA 18049. Inurnment will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Emmaus. Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.
