George F. Martin, 86, formerly of Macungie and Inverness, FL, died July 28, 2014 in Above and Beyond. He was the widower of Lucille E. (Fronheiser) Martin. Born in Ephrata, he was the son of the late Christian H. and Lizzie (Felpel) Martin. He was a member of Carpenters Local 600, working in floor covering for many years, retiring in 1990. He honorably served his country in the Army during WWII and was a life member of the Topton American Legion. Survivors: Son, David L. Martin and wife Charlotte A. of Schnecksville; Sisters, Bertha Mast, Rosie Clugston, and Sarah Nafziger; Granddaughters, Cathy Wisser and Debby Zosky; 4 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Granddaughter. Services: Memorial Services Friday, August 1, 2014 at 11:00 AM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main Street, Emmaus. Visitation 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the funeral home.
