George J. Kowalchik, Sr., 76, of Allentown, formerly of Kingston, died September 14, 2015 in St. Luke's Hospital. He was the widower of Theresa C. (Roberts) Kowalchik. Born in Kingston, he was the son the late Agnes (Ondash) and George Kowalchik, Sr. He worked for Kraft Foods and Nestle. George honorably served his country in the Army during the Korean Conflict and was a member of American Legion Post 576, Allentown. Survivors: Son, George J. Kowalchik, Jr. and wife Sandy of Goodyear, AZ; Daughter, Theresa C. wife of Wally Derr of Allentown; Step-Brother, Michael Gozdiskowski; Granddaughters, Nicole wife of Dalton Messick and Jenna Schultz. Services: Memorial Service with military honors will held Saturday, Sept. 19, 2015 at 11:00 AM in Schantz Funeral Home P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus. Visitation 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the funeral home.
