Klingaman

George F. Klingaman, 97, of Vera Cruz, died August 7, 2022 in Lehigh Valley Hospice. He was the husband of the late Ruby J. (Getz) Klingaman. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late George S. and Edna (Fenstermaker) Klingman. George honorably served his country in the Army during WWII. He worked as a projectionist for many years, retiring in 1990. He also served as the business agent for the Projection Union. He was a member of Zion's Evangelical Lutheran Church. He was a member of the Macungie VFW, Mystic Chain Park / Milford Castle #29 AOK of the MC, and Citizens Fire Co. #2, Emmaus.
George is survived by his brother, William C. Klingman of Emmaus; sister-in-law, Patricia Klingman of Emmaus; nephews, Chris, Paul, and Gary Klingman. He was predeceased by a son, Dennis D. Klingaman, grandson, Zachary D. Klingaman, and brothers, Paul E. and Henry D. Klingman.
Funeral services will be held on Thurs., Aug. 11, 2022 at 11:00 AM in Schantz Funeral Home, 250 Main St., Emmaus. Viewing 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the funeral home. Interment with military honors will follow in Zions Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery.
