George M. Howard, age 75, of Emmaus, passed away on September 3, 2024, in his home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Buffalo, NY, he was a son of the late George M. Howard, Sr. and Mary Pauline (Cooper) Howard. He was the loving husband of Holly A. Howard with whom he shared 41 years of marriage.

He graduated from Bridgewater Raritan High School West in 1967. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Economics and earned one year towards his Master's Degree from Rutgers University. He worked as a Plant Manager for the former Container Corporation of America, Georgia Pacific and Green Bay Packaging. He was a member of St. John's U.C.C. in Emmaus. He loved to play golf, volunteer and help out those in need. After retirement, he was a substitute teacher.

George is survived by his wife Holly A. Howard; son, Brian George Howard and his wife Carolyn; daughters, Samantha Ann Howard and her partner Andrew, Beth Noel Howard and her husband Ryan; five grandchildren; sister, Marianne Stackpole (Al); brothers, Stephen Howard (Linda) and Dr. Todd K. Howard (Kathy). He was predeceased by daughter, Cara Ann Howard.

Memorial services will be held on Monday, September 9, 2024, at 11:00 AM in St. John's U.C.C., 139 N. 4th Street, Emmaus, PA 18049. Visitation will be held prior from 10:00-11:00 AM. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made in George's memory to Leukemia & Lymphoma Society or AstraZeneca Hope Lodge, 110 W. Laurel Avenue, Cheltenham, PA 19012.
