Gene T. "Skip" Kleppinger, II, 63, of Emmaus, died June 29, 2022 in Lehigh Valley Hospital.  Born in Somers Point, NJ, he was the son of Irene M. (Eccles) Kleppinger and the late Gene T. Kleppinger.  He honorably served his country in the Navy.  He achieved the rank of Eagle Scout.  Skip worked for B.F. Brown and Company Paving and later for Skrip Paving and Excavating.  He was an avid race fan, die hard Eagles fan, and loved the outdoors and animals.

Skip is survived by his mother, Irene; son, Gene T. Kleppinger, III and wife Alina; daughter, Lisa Lynn wife of Jon Davis; sisters, Karol Kleppinger, Tammy Toney, and Kandy Kraemer.

A celebration of life picnic will be held on Sunday, Oct. 2, 2022 at 12 Noon in Jasper Park.  Schantz Funeral Home, Emmaus is handling arrangements.
