Gary E. Swab, 84, of Allentown, died June 11, 2023 in Lehigh Valley Hospital.  He was the husband of the late Barbara L. (Lins) Swab.  Born in Elizabethville, he was the son of the late Eldred and Miriam (Evans) Swab.  Gary was a graduate of Thaddeus Stevens Trade School.  He worked as a draftsman and section chief for Western Electric for over 30 years, retiring in 1992.  He was a member of Greenleaf Lodge #561 F&AM, Rajah Shrine, Brookside Country Club for many years, Telephone Pioneers of America, and Miller Symphony.

Gary is survived by his daughter, Sharon S. wife of Tim Schwalm of Allentown; grandchildren, Christina Cope and her husband Daniel and Ryan Utsch and his wife Alexis; great grandchildren, Harper and Gavin.

Memorial services will be held on Fri., June 16, 2023 at 2:00 PM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus.  Visitation 12 Noon to 2:00 PM in the funeral home.
