Frederick C. Wilhelm, 69, of Zionsville, died February 18, 2016 in Kirkland Village. He was the husband of Karen A. (Burmeister) Wilhelm, with whom he celebrated 47 years of marriage on Feb. 8, 2016. He was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee and earned his Master's Degree in Chemistry from Loyola. He was a research chemist for Air Products for over 30 years, retiring in 2013. He was a member of The Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit.

Survivors: Wife; Son, Andrew C. Wilhelm and wife Rachel M. Rumann of Queens, NY; Daughter, Kiersten A. wife of Shawn Falchetti of Dallas; Granddaughter, Emma; Sister, Bonnie Wegner of Cedarburg, WI.

Services: Funeral Services Wed., Feb. 24, 2016 at 11:00 AM in The Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit, 3461 S. Cedar Crest Blvd., Emmaus. Viewing 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the church. Interment will follow in Zion's Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery. Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus, is handling arrangements.
