Fred N. Fuss, age 98, of Allentown, passed away on March 1, 2024 at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest in Allentown. Born in Berlin, Germany, he was a son of the late Joel and Ida (Nowack) Fuss. He was the loving husband of the late Gerdi C. (Kriska) Fuss with whom he shared 47 years of marriage.

He earned his Master's Degree in Engineering Sciences / Physics from the Technische Universität Berlin in 1950. He worked at Bell Telephone Laboratories for 32 years and was a member of the Technical Staff.

Fred is survived by his daughter, Sylvia Mueller and her husband Arndt and grandchildren, Mara and Niels Mueller.

Graveside service will be held on Monday, March 11, 2024 at 11:00 AM in Western Salisbury Cemetery, 3441 Devonshire Road, Allentown, PA 18103. Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.
