Franklin H. Marsteller, 71, of Douglasville, died February 15, 2015 in Fox Chase Cancer Center, Philadelphia. He was the companion of Curtis W. Offner for 26 years. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Franklin L. and Helen E. (Kriebel) Marsteller. He attended Mansfield College and Westminster Choir College. He worked for Schneck Optical, Emmaus for 35 years, retiring in 2005. He was the organist/choir director for First U.C.C., Royersford for 35 years. Previously he was the organist for The Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit, Emmaus and Linfield U.C.C. He honorably served his country in the Air Force. Survivors: Longtime Companion, Daughter, Joy wife of Michael Barron of Bethlehem; Brothers, Raymond W. Marsteller of New Tripoli, Walter H. Marsteller of Kutztown, and James L. Marsteller of Harleysville; 3 Grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Services: Funeral Service Saturday, Feb. 21, 2015 at 10:30 AM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus.
