Obituary

Frank G. Egner, Jr., 72, of Emmaus, died June 20, 2025, in his residence. He was the husband of the late Marilyn L. (Potzman) Egner.

Born in Allentown, Frank was the son of the late Beatrice (Goldberg) and Frank G. Egner, Sr. He earned his bachelor's degree in business and marketing from Kutztown University. Frank began his professional career at East Penn Manufacturing, DEKA, and later found his passion as a well-respected car salesman. Over the years, he worked with Outen Dealerships, Becker Subaru, and retired in 2013 from the Vinart Honda Dealership.

Frank had a love for the outdoors and took great pride in his garden, especially his flowers and freshly mowed lawn. He also enjoyed crossword puzzles, sudoku, a good game of poker and golfing.

Frank is survived by his daughter Laura, wife of Matthew Beitler; son Nicholas Egner and his wife Marissa; grandchildren, Avery, Hudson, Ellison, and Landon.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus. Family and friends are invited to a viewing from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow in New Bethel Cemetery, Kempton.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to donations can be made to Emmaus Moravian Church - Grove project, a garden area at the church where Frank enjoyed spending time planting and tending to flowers with in fellowship with friends.
