Floyd C. Schmoyer, 87, of Emmaus, died August 1, 2015 in his residence. He was the widower of Doris Jane (DeLong) Schmoyer. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Charles M. and Sarah L. (Fink) Schmoyer. He owned and operated Schmoyer's Barber Shop for 63 years, retiring on April 1, 2000. He was an active member of St. John's U.C.C., serving as a member of consistory, choir member and director, Sunday School teacher, and St. John's Men's Quartet. He also created and directed the All Faiths Choir and was the former president of Northwood Cemetery. He honorably served his country in the Army during WWII. Survivors: He is survived by daughters, Myra Sell (Dennis), Lora Lesak (David), and Bonnie Keck (Donald); Brother, Merritt Schmoyer of Selinsgrove and Sister, Arlene Moyer of Allentown. In addition there are six grandchildren, Marla Sell, Jonathan Keck, Dr. Erin Keck Donohue, Lyndie Keck, Dr. Jana Lesak Houser, and Scott Lesak and 2 Great- Grandchildren. Services: Funeral Service Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at 11:00 AM in St. John's U.C.C., 139 North 4th St., Emmaus, PA 18049. Viewing 9:30 to 11:00 AM in the church. Interment with military honors will follow in Northwood Cemetery. Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.
