Florence E. Young Florence E. Young, 82, formerly of Emmaus, died April 23, 2011 in the Masonic Village at Elizabethtown. She was the wife of Walter A. Young. They celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary in August 2010. Born in Coopersburg, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Edna (Steininger) Eastburn. She was a graduate of Coopersburg High School and the Grandview Hospital School of Nursing. She worked as a registered nurse for Sellersville Hospital, Clymer Health Clinic, Zollman Nursing Home, and Reinmiller Convalescent Home for many years, retiring in 1991. She was a member of Morning Star Moravian Church, where she was active in the Womans Fellowship. Survivors: Husband; Sons, Dale D. Young and wife Fran of Quakertown, Neil P. Young and wife Patti of Allentown, and William W. Young and wife Tina of Allentown; Daughters, Susan L. Olbrys of Pittsburgh, Diane E. wife of Scott Walbert of Allentown, and JoAnn P. Sanchez of San Antonio, TX; 14 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Richard S. Young. Services: Funeral Services Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at 11:00 AM in the Schantz Funeral Home, Inc., 250 Main St., Emmaus. Viewing 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the funeral home. Interment will follow in St. Pauls Blue Church Cemetery.
