Florence A Nester Florence A. Nester, 79, of Allentown, formerly of Emmaus, died Sept.13, 2011 in AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center. She was the wife of Elmer Vernon Nester. They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Oct. 7, 2010. Born in Corning, PA she was the daughter of the late Kenneth H. and Sarah L. (Gaugler) Lorish. She worked as a dispatcher for Emmaus for many years and later as a pharmacy technician at Weis Markets in Emmaus and Macungie. She was an active member of Old Zionsville U.C.C., member of the Eastern Star, Allentown, member of the Lehigh Valley Couturiere Society, and a member of the Nester Inlaw/Outlaw Clan. Floss was passionate about loving her family and equally passionate about her church community. Survivors: Husband; Son, Dennis E. Nester and wife Debra of Frederick, MD; Daughters, Debra E. wife of Ronald Moyer of Orefield and Donna E. Nester of Fountain Hill; Daughter-in-law, Susan M. Nester of Vera Cruz; Brother, Carl L. Lorish of Emmaus; Sister, Millie R. Kohler of Emmaus; Grandchildren; Jason, Kristin, Elizabeth, Jillian, Lee, Lisa, Chandel, Jared, Drake, and Adrienne and Great Granddaughter Autumn. She was predeceased by sons, Donald E. Nester and Douglas E. Nester. Services: Funeral Services Wed., Sept. 21, 2011 at 2:00 PM in Old Zionsville U.C.C., Fountain Rd. and Kings Highway, Old Zionsville. Viewing Tue. 6:00 to 8:00 PM in the Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus and Wed. 1:00 to 2:00 PM in the church. Interment will follow in Old Zionsville U.C.C. Cemetery.
