Evelyn M. Pinter, 96, passed away March 27, 2021 in The Willow, Macungie. She was the wife of the late Joseph Pinter. She was born Oct. 7, 1924 in Breinigsville, daughter of the late Charles and Mamie (Trexler) Dietrich. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Macungie. She was very active in the church making quilts for those in need, quilts for babies being baptized, and sewing many other items for children.

Evelyn is survived by her sister, Phyllis Kempf, nieces and nephews; step grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph, brothers, Paul, LeRoy, and Arlan, sisters, Helen, Bertha, and Marie, and her four stepdaughters, Elizabeth Wetherhold, Jean Daniels, Roseann Frisco, and Gloria Finocchio.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.
