Evelyn L. Hillegass Evelyn L. Hillegass, 94, of Emmaus, died March 11, 2010 in Cedarbrook Nursing Home. She was the widow of the late Miles W. Hillegass. Born in Upper Milford Twp., near Vera Cruz, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Sadie (Shelly) Ortt. She was a homemaker and worked as a table worker at the Clarfert Manufacturing for many years. She enjoyed having parakeet pets and delighted in their mimicking her words. She was a member of St. Matthews E.C. Church, Emmaus. Survivors: Son, Leonard M. Hillegass, husband of Judith A. Hillegass of Pennsburg; Brother, Roswell Ortt of Spring Hill, FL; Grandchildren, Kevin D. and his wife, Kaia E. and Neal R. and his wife, Andrea J.; Great Grandchildren, Ashley A., Klarissa A., Milton M., and Netta A. She was predeceased by a grandson, David W. Hillegass; siblings Woodrow, Ethelbert, Geraldine Rice, and Irene Frisoli. Services: Funeral Services Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at 11:00 AM in the Schantz Funeral Home, Inc., 250 Main St., Emmaus. Viewing 10:00 to 11:00 in the funeral home.
