Eugene P. "Stu" Stump, age 79, of Macungie, passed away on August 2, 2024 in his residence surrounded by his loving family. Born in Reading, PA, he was the son of the late Elda M. (Stump) VanValkenburg. He was the loving husband of Mary (Hamm) Stump with whom he shared 55 years of marriage.

Eugene worked as a Truck Driver for Tyler Pipe Co. in Macungie. He had a love for trucks, especially Kenworth and his Bigfoot monster truck. He loved his 73' and 79' Ford pick up truck. He enjoyed watching western movies and when he was younger enjoyed riding motorcycles. He also enjoyed working outside around the house.

Eugene is survived by his wife Mary Stump; daughters, Corinna Stump and her fiancé Richard Schaffer and Tammy Hovan and her husband Reggie; grandchildren, Brandon, Hunter, Melanie, Reggie and Tori; great grandchild, Silas; brother, Larry Ruppert (Patti); and sisters, Joan and Mary. He was predeceased by brothers, Ronald, Donald and Joseph and sister, Linda Bowers (Wayne Leinbach).

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Schantz Funeral Home, P.C. is handling arrangements.
