Eugene W. Deacon Wagner Eugene W. Deacon Wagner, 74, of Promised Land, formerly of Allentown, died August 25, 2007 in Wayne Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Linda M. (Moore) Wagner. They celebrated their 39th wedding anniversary in May 2007. Born in Lewisburg, he was the son of the late Rev. Walter E. and Grace C. (Long) Wagner. He was a graduate of East Stroudsburg State Teachers College with a BS in Education and a graduate of Lehigh University with a Masters Degree in Education. He was a 5th Grade Elementary School Teacher for the Saucon Valley School District working in the Wolf and Lower Saucon Elementary Schools for 30 years, retiring in 1989. He was a member of St. Pauls Evangelical Lutheran church, Hawley. Survivors: Wife; Son, Pierce W. Wagner of Allentown; Sister, Lois Hendricks-Klass and husband Bernie of Rancho Palos Verde, CA.
