Ethelmae M. Marushak, 85, of Allentown, died June 20, 2022 in in her home surrounded by her family.  She was the wife of the late Joseph R. Marushak.  Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late John and Zola (Backenstoe) Sicher.  She worked as a secretary for UGI.  Ethelmae was a member of Jerusalem Western Salisbury Church, where she sang on the choir, was a member of the altar guild, and was Sunday School Secretary.  She was a member of the Emmaus Woman's Club and enjoyed pinochle with friends, gardening both flowers and vegetables, knitting prayer shawls, and doing word search puzzles.

Ethelmae is survived by her daughter, Michelle M. Magargal of Allentown; grandchildren, Samantha and Joseph.

Funeral services will be held on Sat., June 25, 2022 at 10:30 AM in Jerusalem Western Salisbury Church, 3441 Devonshire Rd., Allentown, PA 18103.  Viewing 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the church.  Interment will Follow in Western Salisbury Cemetery.  Schantz Funeral Home, Emmaus is handling arrangements.
