Ethel Marks Ethel Marks, 93, of Kutztown, formerly of Emmaus, died April 11, 2009 in the home of her granddaughter. Born in Minersville, she was the daughter of the late Jacob A. and Kathrina Rena (Lynch) Karmann. She worked as an engraver for Allen Organ Company for 24 years, retiring in 1977. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of the Jehovahs Witnesses, Emmaus. Survivors: Son, Joseph N. Marks and wife Betty; Daughters, Sylvia J. Bleiler widow of Franklin Bleiler, Joan A. wife of John Moyer, and Barbara M. wife of Donald Bower; 15 Grandchildren; 23 Great Grandchildren; 8 Great Great Grandchildren; 2 Nieces and a nephew. She was predeceased by brothers, Leonard and Gilbert Karmann. Services: Memorial Services Friday, April 24, 2009 at 7:00 PM in the Kingdom Hall of the Jehovahs Witnesses, Indian Creek Road, Macungie. Schantz Funeral Home, Inc., Emmaus is in charge of arrangements.
