Ervin F. Mayer, 90, formerly of Coopersburg, died October 22, 2016 in Valley Manor Nursing Home. He was the widower of Mary Ann (Conrath) Mayer. Born in Hebron, ND, he was the son of the late Reinhold and Helen (Veitz) Mayer. He worked as the head of maintenance for Blue Cross/Blue Shield for many years, retiring in 1993.

Survivors: Son, Donald T. Mayer and wife Tracie LaTourette; Daughter, Carol Ann wife of Kim Katzbeck; Brothers, Raymond Mayer, Reinhold Mayer, Wilbert Mayer, and Edgar Mayer; Sisters, Lorraine Angeloti and Ruth Meyer; 3 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren.

Services: Graveside Services Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at 10:00 AM in Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown. Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.
