Eric Richard Bertie— On May 27, 2016 our sweet angel Eric passed into the heavens and placed gently into the hands of God. Born on Long Island (Syosset) New York, and growing up in Pennsylvania, Eric was educated in Emmaus High School, and employed for Nazareth Pallet company.
The middle child of 5 siblings Eric's quiet demeanor, bright smile and laughter resounded through the hearts of everyone he knew. Eric loved the Jets and was an avid gamer. The light of his life for the past few years was his daughter Fran-cesca. Although she only held her daddy's hand for a short time, family and friends will impress on her heart the memories and stories of what a loving dad, son, brother and friend Eric was to all. We will miss you Eric and know you are always in our hearts.
Eric is survived by his parents Catherine McConnell and John Bertie, his daughter Francesca Mae, his Sisters Rebecca and Jillian, his brothers Jason and Gerald, his nephew Joseph, ma-ternal and paternal grandparents and loved by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Schantz Fu-neral Home 250 Main Street in Emmaus Pennsylvania. Calling hours will be June 2nd from 6 to 8pm.
