Emma P. Brauchle, 87, of Macungie, died May 30, 2015 in Manor Care, Salisbury Twp. She was the widow of Joseph A. Brauchle, who died in 1986. Born in Germany, she was the daughter of the late William and Franziska Trauth. She was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church, Emmaus. Emma was a long time member of the Macungie VFW, serving for a time as the auxiliary president. She was also a member of the Macungie Fire Company. Survivors: Emma is survived by sons; Paul, and Fran of Macungie; Tom, and Rose of Salisbury Twp.; Walter, and MaryAnne of Zionsville; Dennis, and Linda of Emmaus; Joseph of Allentown; Christopher, and Karen of Macungie; 10 Grandchildren, 19 Great Grandchildren, and 2 Great-Great Grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother, Walter. Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at 11:00 AM in St. Ann's Catholic Church, 415 S. Sixth St., Emmaus. Viewing 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the church. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements. Contributions: Emma loved animals.
