Emerson W. Wagner, 88, formerly of Allentown, died Oct. 8, 2022 in his daughter's home.  He was the husband of the late Louise M. (Campbell) Wagner.  Born in Milnesville, he was the son of the late Walter E. and Gladys (Klose) Wagner.  Emerson honorably served his country in the Navy.  He worked as a tool and die maker for Air Products, Champion Sparkplug, Mack Trucks and retired from Lehigh University in 1999.  He was a member of Jerusalem Western Salisbury Church.  He enjoyed attending the veteran's group at the Senior Living Center in Allentown and was very active in attending reunions of the USS Hector.

Emerson is survived by his daughter, Janet A. Wagner of Kutztown; granddaughter Sarah L. Politi.  He was predeceased by a daughter, Cheryl L. Cosmos.

Graveside services with military honors will be held on Sat., Nov. 5, 2022 at 11:00 AM in Western Salisbury Cemetery, Allentown.  Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.
