Elizabeth J. "Betty" Gruber, 94, of Emmaus, died Jan. 14, 2022 in Lehigh Valley Hospital.  She was the wife of the late Carlton H. Gruber.  She worked for the laundry mat at the corner of 6th and Chestnut Street for many years. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, where she served as sexton for 24 years.

Betty is survived by a son, Phillip C. Gruber and wife Susan of Emmaus; daughter, Phyllis Ann Gruber of Emmaus; step-grandsons, David and Michael Baun; Nieces and Nephews. She was predeceased by a step-granddaughter, Lisa Binkley.

Funeral services will be held on Wed., Jan. 19, 2022 at 11:00 AM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus.  Viewing 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the funeral home.  Interment will follow in Emmaus Moravian Cemetery.
